Hi everyone from Moonshadow HQ - some of you may have already heard murmurings about broadcasts from Capstone Radio going "on stream" soon.
So just to elaborate - we already stream CauldronFM 24/7 and have now run several pilot broadcasts with Capstone Radio by pinching air time from the CauldronFM stream.
We have now installed another computer in the studio and this studio will enable us to run a second streaming broadcast - and this stream will be primarily for the use of Capstone Radio.
Over the next week the software to make all this happen will be installed and the testing will then begin in earnest.
The projected start date for the stream is 1st April and initially it will be a daily stream of between 2 and 4 hours in length and as new programmes are recorded they will be added into the stream and the ultimate aim will be broadcasting 8 hours of programmes per day by the end of the year and then 24/7 streaming in 2015.
So we are actively seeking volunteer presenters because we believe that as a station dedicated to serving the N.Devon community we should be presenting programming that fits the wide variety of listener profiles - from children to surfers and beyond into tots to seniors, men and women.
